have you seen the invisible man yet?

I feel like I've been invisible on here lately, so I thought I'd post about Liu Bolin "The Invisible Man" which was posted on Fubiz a little while ago.

His works of art are amazing and I can't imagine how long it takes to perfect every detail...

time to remember

I love this clock, the simple and classic design and it would make remembering when to call family and friends so much easier... and there's even a cute desktop version :)  Designed by Mac Funamizu check here for more about the clock and here for some of his brilliant ideas...

inspired

I was lucky enough to have someone buy me a gorgeous Ink and Spindle fabric bundle (below) at The Stitches & Craft Show in Brisbane earlier this year :)

And I think this Desire to Inspire here post has helped me decide what I'm going to use some of it for... below are just some of the images from the post, I just love the memo hoop idea!

Be sure to look at the full post here where you can see the Flickr links also :)

bubble pics

I first saw these amazing images of bubbles popping (apparently they rip, shred or tear) via happy mundane and then again at A CUP OF JO

if you're lucky enough to be able to access flickr then click here for more from the photographer himself Richard Heeks... as for me flickr is blocked :( see below ) in the UAE (and many other sites also), so I will just have to be happy looking at what others post to their blogs...

something to read

what a great site so much to choose from novels, poetry, plays and short stories, read straight from your computer... not quite the same as a book, but a great reference to see if you really wanted to buy the book... click here and start reading :)

tea towel tote

hmm.. now if only I had some tea towels as gorgeous as these... the instructions for how to make the tote are here :)

There are some more things you can make using the free patterns here thanks to Anna Maria Horner (Anna is also the author of this gorgeous book "Seams to Me" which is also on my bookshelf wishlist :)

She has designed some beautiful things, paper goods, kitchen items, home furnishings and she also has some lovely fabrics for sale here too as below... where does she find the time?
