awesomeness

I've been enjoying Katie Sokoler's blog Color Me Katie for a while now, she is such fun and I just had to share today's post...

as part of Improv Everywhere they surprised a Salvation Army bell ringer by bringing along their own bell ringers to play along and it made me smile :) enjoy...

the uniform project

Sheena Matheiken pledged to wear one dress for one year as an exercise in sustainable fashion, but also to raise funds for the Akanksha Foundation devoted to bringing education to children living in the slums of India.

Sheena has been wearing the same dress since May and has raised almost $40,000 !

Click here to see the month by month view of some of her creations... If only I was allowed to be this creative with my school uniform when I was at school !

have you seen the invisible man yet?

I feel like I've been invisible on here lately, so I thought I'd post about Liu Bolin "The Invisible Man" which was posted on Fubiz a little while ago.

His works of art are amazing and I can't imagine how long it takes to perfect every detail...

I was lucky enough to have someone buy me a gorgeous Ink and Spindle fabric bundle (below) at The Stitches & Craft Show in Brisbane earlier this year :)

And I think this Desire to Inspire here post has helped me decide what I'm going to use some of it for... below are just some of the images from the post, I just love the memo hoop idea!

Be sure to look at the full post here where you can see the Flickr links also :)
